It is used to improve the performance of cosmetic formulations, imparting excellent hydrophobic and breathable properties, antioxidant properties, UV protection, softness, smoothness, and non-stickiness. It is primarily used as a waterproofing additive and to reduce the stickiness of organic ingredients in the formula. It is also used as a shine and sunscreen ingredient in hair care products. It is highly suitable for skin lotions, creams, sunscreens, shaving creams (lotions), hair care products, and makeup products.
