LR-MQ Liquid Methyl MQ Silicone Resin
Silfluo LR-MQ Liquid is a methyl MQ silicone resin supplied as a clear solution in toluene or xylene. Produced by co-hydrolysis of tetraalkoxysilane (Q units) and trimethyl-functional silanes (M units), the resin forms a three-dimensional trimethylsilane-terminated polysilicate network with M/Q ratio of 0.60–0.80. Low molecular weight cyclics content is below 0.1%, and hydroxyl content is ≤0.5%.
The pre-dissolved liquid format allows direct incorporation into formulations without powder dispersion steps, at equivalent resin chemistry to the LR-MQ powder grade.
