Applications of LF-VF11 Vinyl Terminated Fluorosilicone Fluid
1. Addition-Cure Fluorosilicone Elastomers
Used as a reactive base fluid in addition-cure fluorosilicone elastomer formulations, including liquid fluorosilicone rubber systems. Final cure properties depend on the complete formulation and should be verified by testing.
2. Fluorosilicone Adhesives
Suitable for developing fluorosilicone adhesive formulations where improved oil and solvent resistance is required.
3. Low-Refractive-Index Optical Formulations
The low refractive index supports formulation work for low-refractive-index adhesives, liquid-crystal display films and optically clear adhesive (OCA) systems. In properly formulated and cured systems, it may help achieve low dimensional change, low haze and a low yellowness index. These properties must be verified in the final formulation.
4. Liquid Fluorosilicone Rubber and Potting Compounds
LF-VF11 is typically combined with a compatible Si-H-functional fluorosilicone fluid and platinum catalyst in hydrosilylation-cure formulations for liquid fluorosilicone rubber, fluorosilicone potting compounds and related elastomers intended for oil-, solvent- and low-temperature-resistant applications. Finished formulations may be comparatively evaluated against Dow SILASTIC™ FL 9201 F-LSR performance targets. LF-VF11 is a reactive base fluid, not a ready-to-use equivalent.

In 5kg, 25kg and 250kg drum
Keep in cool, dry and ventilated place. This product should be neutral to avoid contact with acidic and alkaline substances. Keep in unopened containers, shelf life is 18 months from the date of production. It is shipped as non-hazardous substance. Storage beyond the shelf life does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
