LR-M163 Acrylic Modified Silicone Resin
Silfluo LR-M163 is an acrylic-modified silicone resin produced by reaction of silicone resin, acrylic resin, and functional silane intermediates, supplied at 50% solid content in toluene-containing solvent. The combined silicone-acrylic matrix provides hardness, gloss, and heat resistance up to 230°C in the cured film.
When formulated with leafing aluminum powder at a 4:1 resin-to-pigment ratio, the cured coating withstands 400 ± 10°C for 3 hours without peeling, cracking, or blistering.
