Silfluo LS-ND22 is (N,N-Diethylaminomethyl)triethoxysilane, an alpha-amino functional organosilane.

The molecule contains a tertiary diethylamino group connected to silicon through a methylene bridge, and a triethoxysilyl group.

The alpha-silane structure gives different hydrolysis and condensation behavior compared with conventional gamma-functional silanes.

The tertiary amine group provides catalytic support in moisture-curing systems.

The triethoxysilyl group hydrolyzes and forms siloxane linkages or bonds to hydroxylated inorganic surfaces under suitable conditions.

Used as crosslinking additive, adhesion promoter, or reactive silane component in RTV silicone systems, silane-modified polymers, SPUR systems, epoxy composites, FRP systems, and textile finishing intermediates.

Cure behavior, adhesion, flexibility, moisture resistance, and storage stability require verification in the target formulation.

Applications of LS-ND22 Diethylaminomethyltriethoxysilane

1. RTV silicone systems

Used as crosslinking additive or adhesion promoter in room-temperature-vulcanizing silicone systems. Verify cure behavior, deep-section cure, storage stability, and adhesion by formulation testing.

2. SMP, MS polymer, and SPUR systems

Used as a reactive silane component in silane-modified polymer and silyl-terminated polyurethane systems. Test cure profile, modulus, elongation, adhesion, and storage stability in the final formulation.

3. Epoxy and FRP composites

Used as a coupling additive in fiberglass-reinforced plastics and epoxy composite systems. Verify interfacial adhesion, mechanical properties, and moisture resistance by application testing.

4. Primers and surface treatment

Used in primer and surface treatment formulations for glass, mineral fillers, metal oxide surfaces, and other hydroxylated inorganic substrates. Conduct substrate-specific adhesion testing before use.

5. Textile finishing intermediates
