Silfluo LR-038 is a solvent-free methylphenyl polysiloxane resin. It provides high and low-temperature resistance, water repellency, moisture resistance, weatherability, and adhesion. Upon curing, it exhibits high hardness, flexibility, and electrical insulation properties.

Formulation Binders: Utilized for formulating high-temperature-resistant coatings, laminates, impregnating varnishes, and adhesives. It can be cured at ambient temperature when combined with an appropriate curing agent.
Diluent Purity: Any diluents introduced must be free of water, acids, alkalis, amines, and other reactive compounds. Contamination will negatively impact adhesion, drying profiles, and overall film properties.
Safe Handling & Ventilation: During application and curing, this product releases flammable and volatile byproducts such as methanol. Proper explosion-proof ventilation must be maintained on-site. Strict precautions against fire hazards and ignition sources are mandatory. Operators must adhere to occupational safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Dilution Guidelines: The resin can be diluted using ketones, esters, toluene, and xylene.

Keep in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment, avoiding direct sunlight, acids, and alkalis. The shelf life is 6 months from the date of manufacture when stored in original unopened containers. Classified and transported as a hazardous substance.
