Phenyl Silane & Siloxane

Phenyl silanes are organosilanes containing aryl groups attached to silicon.
They are used as intermediates for phenyl silicone fluids, phenyl-modified siloxane resins, and selected silicone elastomer systems.
The phenyl group can increase refractive index and change thermal behavior, rigidity, and compatibility of the final siloxane structure.
