Introduction to Silicone Resin

Silicone resin, a "pearl" in the field of high-temperature resistant materials, is not only safe and non-toxic, but also has low surface tension. It is an ideal coating for non-stick pans. Coatings made with it as the main ingredient play a major role in preventing biological parasites from attaching to the bottom of the ship (increasing sailing resistance) and contributing to energy conservation.


Methyl MQ silicone resin, a unique ingredient of special-effect defoamers, has attracted much attention since its launch, bringing irreplaceable contributions to the defoamer industry. It is widely used in silicone rubber reinforcement, silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives, waterproofing agents, release agents and cosmetics.


Vinyl MQ silicone resin, the most preferred material for reinforcing silicone rubber products in injection molding processes, is widely used to give silicone rubber the initial polar domain. Good fluidity, transparency after vulcanization and excellent reinforcement effect.

Phenyl silicone resin - a silicone resin with better heat resistance, is the preferred main component for places with high and low temperature extreme environments and anti-corrosion requirements. Anti-corrosion treatments such as engine exhaust pipes are all its functions.


Acrylic modified silicone resin, epoxy modified silicone resin, and polyurethane modified silicone resin are the latest derivative silicone resins used in many occasions and are the hot direction in the future.


There are many varieties of other resin-modified materials with broad application prospects. They are the future development direction of silicone resins and the concentrated outbreak point of scientific research results.
